The Australian branch of the discount supermarket chain, Aldi has installed a massive 1-megawatt array on their distribution center in Brendale, Queensland. The system was installed by an Australian commercial solar specialist, Epho as reported by One Step Off The Grid.
The Brendale project is the largest so far to be installed by the German-owned supermarket chain in Australia. The 1-megawatt solar array is expected to cover the daytime requirements of the Brendale distribution centre.
