The shares in the solar-powered internet of things startup Spectur started trading on the ASX today after a $4.5 million launch.
Situated in Perth, Spectur produces hi-definition solar-powered security camera networks.
The company listed at $0.20, which gives it a market capitalisation of $8.2 million.
Peter Holton, Spectur managing director, said that the new funds will be used to expand into Melbourne and Sydney and then international markets.
Spectur has many Western Australian customers, who use their services for crime prevention, staff productivity monitoring and OH&S regulations.
