Indian Energy major player Adani received the go signal for the construction of its 140-megawatt solar farms in Whyalla. The company has received the approval for the $200 million solar project and will provide 150 jobs during the farm’s construction and with 5 full-time staff once the farm is completed as reported by The Advertiser.
Adani has been attacked because of its coal investments in Galilee Basin, but this solar project shows that the company is serious about renewable energy

The company is also considering an accompanying battery storage option in Whyalla and other renewable projects in South Australia.
