Exciting news from Inhabitat. The German company EMAMIDESIGN has developed an innovative way to harness the power of wind. Compact and interlocking windmills combine to make the Windflock energy system capable of powering devices and buildings.
The 3-dimensional system can be customised to accommodate different shapes and volumes as required by the users. Assembly is described to be as simple as putting together LEGOs, which makes these units very accessible for buyers with different skill levels. The final display is quite impressive as it resembles the synchronised formation of flying birds.
The best part of the Windflock system, aside from its beautiful, simple and functional design, is that it makes green energy more accessible and attainable. Hopefully this system will soon take flight and become a symbol of a sustainable and practical energy provider in the future.
