Meridian Energy Australia Confirmed the $168 Million Purchase Of Three Hydro Power Stations From Trustpower

Meridian Energy has signed a deal with three new supply contracts in Australia giving the owner of the Powershop energy retailer more renewables supply from solar and wind farms as reported by Share Chat.

Meridian Energy Australia confirmed the $168 million purchase of the hydropower stations from Trustpower. They also said that they signed three hydropower agreements with renewable projects in New South Wales and Victoria.

Meridian Energy already owns wind farms in Australia and has more than 100,000 customers from its Powershop branded retail business.
