Microsoft and General Electric Signed Big Renewables Deal

Tech giant Microsoft has signed a major wind energy deal with General Electric in Ireland as reported by The Australian.

This deal will continue Microsoft’s major investments in renewable energy around the world. The agreement includes Microsoft working with GE on the continued development and deployment of battery technology in storing wind energy. The deal was signed as Australia is considering subsidies and grants for renewable energy development and completely abandoning the country’s Clean Energy Target.
