Australian Firm Epuron has reduced the number of proposed turbines to minimise the impact of nearby town landowners for the Liverpool Range Wind Farm.
Responding to public submissions received on the project about 2 years ago, Epuron has now made the changes. The plan changes will cut 16 turbines to reduce the total number to 272. Despite the turbine reduction, the wind farm would still be more than twice of New South Wales’ largest existing wind farm near Glen Innes, on the state’s northern tablelands.
The company is also considering to change the alignment of the electricity transmission line to reduce clearing of native vegetation and change the access points to reduce the traffic impacts on nearby households.
