South Australia Gearing Up For More Renewable Energy And Storage Projects

South Australia is calling for tenders from companies that are interested in investing in enhancing renewable energy, bioenergy projects and energy storage. Projects will have the opportunity to receive support from the $150 million renewable technology fund through grants and other financing schemes as reported by Climate Reaction.

Companies are invited to come up with projects that able to enhance renewable energy generation by adding energy storage and fast frequency response.

Renewables projects include:

  • Pumped hydropower
  • Compressed air
  • Solar thermal storage
  • Wind
  • Bioenergy
