Tesla Australia is Now Offering Pre-orders for the Tesla Solar Roof

When Tesla announced its solar roof tiles last year, many Australian homeowners and housebuilders said it would be a perfect product for Australian homes.

Now the time has come that you can pre-order the Tesla Solar Roof, although installations wouldn’t start until 2018.

According to Tesla Australia, anyone can have their own power source and energy self-sufficiency, the roof will be stronger and over time, with power cost savings taken into account, it won’t be more expensive than a normal roof. At least in the United States, but experts are doing their own analysis of the costs of how Tesla’s solar shingles fit into the Australian roofing market.
