Tubular GoSun Solar Cooker Can Cook Food In Minutes!

Solar cooking just got even better thanks to the nimble and fuss-free GoSun stove as reported by Inhabitat. The very awesome tube stove can cook delicious meals without using any fuel in just 20 minutes. Boiling, baking or frying is easy and fast and the stove cost less than $200.

The device is easy to setup and it doesn’t require hours of positioning that makes it unique and different from other solar cookers the design of the fold out anodised aluminium envelope attracts the sun in any angle, honing its power and transferring it to the evacuated glass tube, where sunlight is readily absorbed and amplified. The interior of the GoSun can heat up to 550F in just a few minutes.

The fast heating means the cooking possibilities are endless unless you’re trying to stuff a whole turkey in there. Baking bread, boiling pasta, simmering stew, sizzling meats or frying mozzarella sticks are some of the foods that you can cook off the grid in summer or during winter. Foods can be kept warm for hours because the glass tube heats to a high temperature and will offer your friends and family a hot and delicious meal after the sun has gone down.

The solar stove can retain 80-90% of the sunlight it catches. The solar power is amplified with a parabolic reflection that bounces the collected heat within the interior the tube without any loss in heat.
